Roused.org ("we", "us") is a video research platform. We built it to be anonymous by default, and this policy explains what information we do collect, why, and what you can do about it.
We use this information to operate and improve the platform, authenticate you, display your contributions, send service-related messages, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information.
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Waitlist emails are kept until you ask to be removed or the waitlist closes.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@roused.org. You can leave the waitlist by using the unsubscribe option in our emails or by contacting us.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Roused.org is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
